“Video poker”

If poker is your game why not use this great mobile version to hone your skills before heading to a casino to take all their grubby money. Eric Snider's Video Poker is an exact replica of the arcade machines that you will find in casinos, if you visit casinos. Rather than taking on other players, you play the machine by trying to make the best hand you can. This includes two pairs, flush, royal flush etc. There's a handy help guide in this one to tell you what you need.

Each round you choose between five levels of betting and decide how many of your cards to hold for the next draw. Then either count your winnings in the top right or watch the money disappear. There's nothing too flashy about the game and it can get a bit monotonous but the action is nice and fast with simple 16 bit graphics plus detailed statistics to help you keep tabs on your account. Mine was flashing red.
